Just wanted to let you know that the ROCKRGRL Music Conference in Seattle is only 6 weeks away. November 10-12. We will be covering a LOT of ground that is often covered in ROCKRGRL Magazine and more. Here are just a few of the highlights:
* The Woman of Valor Dinner - honoring Patti Smith - November 10. This is the kick-off for the conference. Industry luminaries will be on hand to honor Patti, and she and Lenny Kaye will perform an acoustic set. This also happens to be the 30 year anniversary of the release of Patti's debut album, "Horses." Cost to attend the banquet is $100/person and not included with conference registration. Tickets for the WOV Dinner must be purchased IN ADVANCE.
* Keynote addresses by Patti Smith and Johnette Napolitano.
* A Shop Talk Q&A between Bonnie Raitt and Ann Wilson.
* Ann Powers interviews Cris Williamson on 30 years since Changer & The Changed.
