Just to get some conversation going again in the Drum section....
What are you working on in your practice sessions?
I'm still a beginner, so I'm working on basic beats, limb independence exercises, and rudiments, rudiments, rudiments. I'm also going to start on another DVD this week (Tommy Igoe's Groove Essentials).
I also just ordered Steve Smith's "Drum Set Technique/History of the US Beat" DVD.
I'd like to know what other beginners and more advanced players are working on. Let's get a discussion going!
