Just remember it's not just your voice you have to warm up but your facial and stomach muscles... make like your going to try and kiss the ceiling with your bottom lip to stretch the muscles in your neck... open your mouth as much as you can and try and smile... them rub your cheeks and stuff to loosen up the muscles in your face and stuff... Always breath in through your nose and out through your mouth trying to fill every last crevice in your lungs... Keep good posture. Get your self next to a piano breath in slowly on ten and then sing as you slowly go up the scale using the same breath you took... do it with different consonant and vowel sounds (a a a a a a a... t t t.... bbb... ccc... th th th... ouououou... You get the idea... Go up and down the scales do it on different scales C E F Gm etc try doing this as well as if you we playing an invisible trumpet (like a bbbbrrrrrrrr sound were you spit on everyone nearby) thats great for loosening up your mouth as well as warming up your voice try singing from your stomach your chest and your throat notice what differnt effects you get and use where approapriate in different songs of yours...

breath is the most important part. if you exercise on a regular basis, this will help. i also recommend warming up with jumping jacks, or running in place, etc. etc. and doing scales at the same time. sometimes whispering your lyrics while exercising helps (whispering is almost the same as screaming) . if anything, this gets your voice centered and in touch with your body. as far as, staying in tune...a voice coach can help. if you can't afford that sort of thing at the moment...scream for 1 minute, sob for another, laugh another minute, yell out of anger for a minute. it sounds strange but 5 minutes of all of this will make your vocals stronger.
