I can't agree with y'all more...we gotta stop thinking a woman is useless after 35. If anything we get BETTER! And how come no one makes a big deal about the "old" men who are still making music? But as soon as a woman gets over 29 suddenly she shouldn't be seen or heard, or isn't capable of producing valid art. Sheesh...sometimes we are our own worst enemies! Thanks. <<< is 35 and finally my OWN woman and artist

You people are pathetic If you don't like they're music that's one thing but to diss a singer because of her age,, come on!! How about Tori Amos do you all hate her? She's 41yrs old and has one child,,, should she pack it in too. Music is these peoples lives,,, I only wish some artist that come out today have enough talent and fan base to last the next 40yrs. I'm sure there's not a band or artist out there that can. It's all about greed, and how much money you can make in popping out as many singles as possible on the airwaves until u fade away. It's not just the artist fault either, this goes rigth into the music corporations greed, to have as many spin off's on an artist or band as soon as they get one hit wonder. Madonna I hope you can still put out records well into your 50's Like Tina Turner, Cher, etc.

I'd like to add something else....
I find in today's world that it saddens me to see woman taking a complete 180 degree turn,,, after decades of woman's issues, gaining respect, and equallity among men in the workplace etc. Now ever since early 80's rap has turned to Hip-Hop and today's rap (not just this genre,,, but heavily promoted) you find woman singers or extras in a video only being portrayed as sex objects. Now don't get me wrong I being a man love to look at a beautiful woman, but why can't we concentrate on talent, now woman are constantly being refered to as ho's in songs. The younger girls being bombarded by this crap, and your only sexy if you show your thong ,,, is slowly taking away any respect woman gained since fighting for it since the 20's. It's like in hip-hop video's that call each other nigga's that to me is degrading too, At one time black people didn't like to be called a nigger,,, now they call each other that it's degrading to yourself, and eventually becomes the norm because kids as young as 5yrs old until they become grown up watch this crap and it's acceptable to them .
Lets get back to talent in the music industry you can have sexy, without being trampy.
